The Meaning of B.C. and A.D.
Jesus Divides History - Whenever a Date is Recognized, the Life of Jesus is Acknowldeged

"Celebrate His Life"

The modern calendar was introduced in the fourth century A.D. and was later adopted by most of the world. Any date in the last two thousand years, since the birth of Jesus Christ, is designated A.D. (anno domini), meaning "in the year of the Lord". Any date before that time is designated B.C. (before Christ). Dated international treaties, national legislations, and even refrences to birthdays, business meetings, and New Years celebrations are an acknowledgement of the life of Jesus!
